![]() Similar to "Midsommar" she knows how to make the daytime feel uneasy. As some of the cast stated, there is more to this film than meets the eye. It's not a heavy psychological thriller, but it has a few elements that made feel uneasy. However, I feel that I was slightly mis-directed. That being said, I had the utmost pleasure of attending a pre-screening for "Don't Worry Darling" during an IMAX Live event, and my hopes had kind of plummeted with some of the casts answers to questions. I thought the trailer had spoiled a significant chunk of what would happen. I thought this film would be entertaining, but lack real excitement and chaos. So I don't think she was a bad addition to the show, no.This my attempt to #dontspoilitdarling First, my preconceived notions of the film. So yeah it was time to let it go.Īs for her character, Thirteen was pretty much the only New addition to House's team that I really liked. What else could top that? Killing him? Well, they did that. They've put House in rehab and in jail late in the series. They probably also ran out of rare conditions and illnesses as well. The show was rather formulaic and there weren't really any interesting storylines/arcs to tell. They have added different teams and rotated their members for about half of the show in order to keep it fresh, but I doubt it would have lasted for 10+ seasons if Olivia Wilde got paid less. I mean, the show had what, again, 9 seasons? That's plenty for what it was. Most likely because the last couple of seasons didn't get very high ratings compared to previous ones and thus they decided it was time to move on. If she had debuted in season 7 or 8, I could understand your argument, but season 4?Īnd I don't think the show ended because it was running out of money per se. Meaning she joined it a little before the middle of the show. But I seriously doubt Olivia Wilde sped up House's death, let alone ruin it. In fact, I've never wondered or looked into how much money each actor made per episode. I had no idea she had such a large salary.
